I have a split on my intake manifold, will Durafix fix it?
You will need to give the part a thorough clean and then use a torch to burn off any residue (run the flame lightly over the part), making sure that you get the part down to its base metal.
Once that is done, clean it with the stainless steel brush provided and you are ready to repair.
There is no drip with the rod, so providing the hole is not too large, you can go straight over the hole and it will bond stronger than the parent metal.
You can grind any excess off and polish it to a good finish once cool. Let the part cool naturally - don't use an oil or water bath to cool it.
